Melanie
I am a mom, nana and Disney Vacation Club Owner
I was trained as a Disney Vacation Specialist in Walt Disney World Orlando, and even received my Disney Diploma from Mickey Mouse!
I have loved taking my family to the Disney parks from the time they were infants, enjoying the different stages of vacations right up to their teens. And now I get to enjoy trips with the next generation. I have taken and booked large extended family trips with grandparents, uncles and aunts as well as large groups like school trips and dance teams.
2020 was the only year in the past 17 years that I have missed visiting a Disney Park.
I have been to Hong Kong Disney, gone on Disney Cruises and visited Aulani in Hawaii and I'd love to put my experience to work for you and be your Disney Travel Agent!
Kyla
I am a mom of 2 rambunctious little ones, who love Disney almost as much as I do.
My mom's love for Disney and vacation planning was contagious, and it was a natural fit for me to want to join her in creating Park Plans & Pixie Dust.
I love to give parents the tools to not only save time and money, but also unique ways they can add those magical touches to make memories that will last a life time.
I know that planning a Disney vacation can be overwhelming but if you let me, I can take the stress out of it for you.
- I'd love to be your Disney Bestie!
What is a DVC Rental?
DVC is an acronym for Disney Vacation Club.
"What is a DVC Rental"?
People actually own timeshares offered by Disney, through the Disney Vacation Club.
These timeshares are located in the Disney Vacation Club resorts.
Disney refers to them as Deluxe Villas.
These timeshare owners get to use these villas throughout the year.
Disney determines the size of an ownership purchase by allocating points.
The type of room and number of days that they can use their timeshare
is dependent on how may points they own.
The more points one has, the more nights they can stay.
Of and course, it takes more points to stay the same length of time in
a 2 bedroom than it does in a 1 bedroom or a studio.
When these owners can not use their timeshare, they can choose to rent them out.
That is what a DVC Rental is.
As DVC timeshare owners we know what an incredible value DVC is.
You may not be ready to buy you own points, but renting them is one way you can
save a lot of money on your Disney Vacation and get more bang for your buck
in the type of room you get.
Did you know that you can rent DVC points for a fraction of the cost
of booking a standard resort room? It's luxury for a lot less.
We would love to share our little secret with you
and help you save a lot of money
on your next Disney Vacation!

DISNEY THEME PARK TICKETS
EXPLAINED
Which Walt Disney World tickets to buy is one of the key decisions you will make while planning your Disney World vacation. There are several ticket options for you to choose from. We will attempt to help you be informed about your options so you can make the
best decision for you and your family.
A standard (or base) ticket allows entrance to one theme park each day. You can then add additional features to your ticket which allows for greater flexibility and entrance to other parks and attractions. By giving you options, Disney allows you to only pay for the features you want. Besides the type of ticket, you will need to decide how many days to visit each park.

Picking the Resort
that is right for you
One of the first decisions you need to make when you decide on a Disney World Vacation is where you will stay. If you have decided to stay on-site, you now need to decide which one of the 25 Disney resorts is right for you.
Price, comfort, amenities and location are all things you will want to take into consideration. We all wrestle with how much money we should spend on a hotel room that we will only sleep in, since we all know the real goal is to spend time in the parks!
Before we dive too deep into the different resorts, there are amenities that are standard at all Disney Resort Hotels. Every Disney Hotel offers the following perks:
Which Resort is Best?
The answer to this questions is completely dependent on your family and preferences. The best hotel for a family with small children will not be the best choice for a family with older children. If you have a tighter budget a value resort may be best, but if you plan to spend a lot of time at the pool, a higher tier may be better.
Our goal is to give you the basics of each tier of hotel to help you narrow down your Disney Resort choice. You need to have a good understanding of the pros and cons in order to help you choose.
The Resort just right for you, may not be right for everyone
